Peng Peng Sock Monkeys & Elephants How they came into being... Each creation is one-of-a-kind, entirely handmade by myself head to tail. The red heel socks are vintage (unused of course!) and gently aged to look and feel like old dolls. I stuff them with cotton rag and/ or polyfil, usually a combo of both. Nearly all the materials and notions (buttons, embroidery floss, fabrics, trims, yarns, etc) I use are antique/ vintage, with some repro cotton and hand dyed items. The "sockies" are all fully dressed in outfits which are individually 'made to measure'~ no patterns were involved here. Pom poms are felted wool n' mixed fibers so they too are unique!
