About the Monkeys
Each is one-of-a-kind and entirely handmade by myself. The red heels socks are vintage (unused of course!), washed, then hand dyed / tie dyed or gently aged for the "classic" look. The materials for the clothing/ eyes/ trims is nearly all antique/ vintage, with occasional repro fabrics. I sew their outfits 'made to measure' without the use of patterns. The end result? Unique monkeys that have a genuine "antique" feel.. really like old folk art dolls. Enjoy!
