| November 2003: First full-size 10" bear "Sky" debuts on eBay and adopted. It was challenging & fun to make the jump from miniatures to big bears! "Sky" took me a long time to make, since using a sewing machine was also new to me. Now I enjoy creating bears of all sizes, though small is my favorite. |

This was my first time exhibiting at the San Diego show, assisted by my (very patient) husband. It was a delight to meet all the exhibitors, fellow bear artists and collectors, new & old friends :O) I'm pictured here with new bear artist Maria Go (she's the tall one!) who was inspired into bearmaking by Peng Peng Bears & japanese bears! |
 |
After the weekend show, we spent a day visiting the museums in San Diego's picturesque Balboa Park.
